On Wednesday 31 March 2004 the inauguration of the new interactive exhibition of the Foundation of the Hellenic World entitled "Tales of the Olympic Games. A unique exhibition" took place at the cultural centre Hellenic Cosmos. The exhibition aims at presenting unknown aspects of the Olympic Games through original exhibits and the participation of the visitors.

In an area of 600 m2, visitors are able to choose how they are going to see the exhibition, according to their interests and disposition. Responsible for the museological design of the exhibition were Ms Andromachi Gazi and Ms Alexandra Nikiforidou. The distinguished architect Mr Andreas Aggelidakis and the architect Ms Eleni Kostika were responsible for the design of the area and the exhibits.

Many people from the fields of art, mass media and politics attended the event, which coincided with the celebration of the six years of operation of the cultural centre Hellenic Cosmos, such as Ms Elena Kountoura, member of the Hellenic Parliament, Mr Aris Aravanis, General Director and Substitute Managing Director of TOYOTA Hellas (which sponsored of the exhibition) and Mr Athanasios Kritsinelis, Torch Relay Director of "Athens 2004".
